Studio & Event Listing Policy

How we treat listings

COSMA is a costume marketplace. Studios and events are here as a bridge to the moment a member needs a costume — COSMA is not an advertising platform.

• Listing is free. There are no paid placements or ad slots.
• COSMA's editorial team makes the final call on what is listed.
• We may decline a listing request.

Inclusion criteria

We list studios and events that meet all four of the following. If we cannot confirm even one of them, we do not publish the listing.

• The operator or organizer can be identified — through a company website, a trade name plus an official account active for at least three months, or an organizer page on a booking service — and the same party clearly runs it continuously.
• Dates, location, and pricing can be confirmed from a primary source, meaning the organizer's own announcement, and you can let us know when they change. Events with an undecided date, and studios that are closed or preparing to relocate, go up once the date is fixed or the studio reopens.
• Adult-oriented shooting is not the main purpose. See the next section for details.
• Cosplay is allowed and anyone can attend or book. Members-only or invitation-only occasions, retail events with no cosplay element, and promotions that give attendees no chance to shoot are not listed.

Adult-oriented content

We do not list events whose main purpose is R-18 shooting or shooting in highly revealing costumes, nor venues and studios that present themselves as adult-shooting-only. A studio used mainly for ordinary cosplay that also offers an adult plan in a separate slot can be listed, but our description will not mention that plan. This is not a judgment about legality; it is about who COSMA looks like it is for.

What the free listing covers

Listing is free. In exchange, we cannot promise placement or how long a listing stays up.

• There is no cap on the number of listings. If the same organizer runs more than four instalments of one series in a month, we may combine them into a single entry.
• Order within our lists is decided by date, region, last update, and similar factors. We never change it because of a request or a relationship.
• We cannot promise how long a listing stays up either. Once an event is over, it moves to past events.
• COSMA edits the text. We may not publish the wording you send as-is, so that length and tone match the rest of the site.
• We only use images provided by the operator or organizer. We never reuse images from other sites, and we hold back images with people in them until likeness rights are confirmed.

Requesting a listing

Write to us through the contact form and pick the "Studio / event listing" category. The details below speed up the review.

• The name of the studio or event
• A URL for the official site, official account, or booking page
• The event date, or the studio's opening days and hours
• Pricing, and whether cosplay is allowed and under what conditions
• Any images we may use, if you can provide them

Corrections and removals

Use the same contact form to correct a listing or ask us to take it down. When we remove a listing we unpublish it rather than deleting the record, so we do not repeat the same checks if you ask us to list it again.

• Correcting an error: we check the primary source and fix it (target: within 3 business days).
• Take-down by the operator or organizer: we unpublish it without asking why (target: within 3 business days). We started the listing on our own initiative, so you are under no obligation to keep it.
• Removal requested by a third party: we confirm the requester's standing before deciding (target: within 7 business days).
• Rights infringement claim: we unpublish the material first and investigate afterwards (same day).
