Story

How LAYER was born

"I'm modifying my suitcase but it's hard… I wish a maker would build one that opens upright!"
— It all started with cosplayer Mae'ri's X post.

Origin

A T&S PR member (a former cosplayer!) spotted the post on X and went straight to the CEO: "Let's make a carry case for cosplayers!"

Development

Five active cosplayers gathered — キシコ・菊壱・あやら・まえり・ェモ — combined following of ~100K. July 2023, first meeting at T&S HQ. They covered every "cosplayer pain point" — makeup desk, hanger loops, D-ring mounts, movable dividers — all born from real cosplayer experience.

Debut

The finished product debuted at a cosplay-only studio in Ikebukuro, the cosplay mecca. The five cosplayers themselves modeled and demonstrated LAYER's possibilities.

This is "a carry of the layers, by the layers, for the layers."
